Spacious

80m² – Plenty of room to relax in your home-from-home. Sleeping a maximum of three persons.  The cottage is big enough to feel like you are not on top of each other, giving you individual space, ideal for those times when you need a short rest.

Double bedroom

Stretch out on a comfortable, roomy King size posturepedic bed made by Sealy.  The room comes with a double wardrobe and chest-of-drawers.

Single room

The  room is provided with a standard single divan bed, a wardrobe and dressing table.

Linen

We know what it’s like after a long journey, therefore all our beds will be made up with fresh. Clean linen upon your arrival, leaving you free to kick back and relax, or simply tuck in for the night.

Shower room

Adjacent to the bedrooms, the shower room is fitted with an electric shower, hand basin, toilet. The upper Bathroom has a mixer shower over the bath. Because we’ve fitted an Economy 7 electric heating, with booster for the hot water supply, you won’t have to worry about running out of hot water in the morning or evening.

Living room

Two comfortable settees to relax in after a long day’s walking in the hills; Dining suite, Wood burning stove (Charnwood Country) on a slate plinth. Sky Freesat LCD TV with DVD.

Kitchen

A spacious and modern, well equipped and well-lit kitchen enabling you to cater to a large group of people easily. A small breakfast bar for 2 people, perfect for our smaller-sized groups.

Utility room

A utility room, containing a washer/drier and a freezer, is suitable for drying walking equipment if you happen to get caught in the showers. There are also several conveniences for the outside patio area should you require them.

Gear storage area

The slate floored hallway provides a boot changing area, and walking gear storage, keeping your rooms clean and tidy from mud and debris.

Garden furniture

A delightful South-facing slate patio with a BBQ and sweeping garden that slopes down to the Hayeswater Gill. Perfect for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner all year round – weather permitting!

Off-road parking

Ample room for one car at cottage entrance in a gated area on slate chips. The area is lit at night by a PIR light as there are no street lights.

Safe and secure

Built-in emergency lighting, smoke and heat detectors. Carbon Monoxide detector.
